Sweet and juicy pear flavor with a hint of barnyard funkiness.

This is a rich tasting Perry, definitely a dessert cider, I wouldn't have it with food other than cake, pie or ice cream. Sweet, distinctive fruit flavor.

Fairly sweet, but not cloying. Well balanced and very drinkable. The aroma is fairly funky, but the funk is less pronounced in the taste. At 4% ABV, it's not very strong, but it's quite easy to keep drinking this poire...

Let me say I love French ciders. Especially funky, farmy ciders with a nice sweetness yet low bitter finish that makes the flavor free of thy syrupy, decomposing fruit flavor. This is semi sweet and delicious enough to drink a lot of it.

Comes in a 750 ml champagne bottle. This is simply too gassy for my tastes. However, the flavour is pleasant; ripe pear, with a little funk, some almond, and a touch of spice. I did not find it as sweet as others have suggested, but this would definitely be a good dessert perry, served with madeleines, taste tatin, or a Madeira cake.
