Cidre Bio

Amber coloured, clear with moderate heavy fizz. Rich apple tarte tartin aroma. Fruity with toffee apple. Great aroma and flavour but the fizz is too much.

Wignac "Le Lièvre" Cidre Bio (4.5% ABV, 750ml). The flagship cider from the Ardennes family of Wignacourt. Made from 100% organic apple juice, no additives, not even sulphite. This one is as naturally made as possible. Clear deep golden in colour. Aroma of sweet, ripe apples, peach, earhty notes. Medium body, moderate carbonation. Slightly tart, sweet and sour apples on the palate, apple peel, tannins, honey. Finishes dry, lemony. Aftertaste is citric as well, with a higher level of astringency, green apples. Eminently drinkable, with freshness *and* some depth. Another excellent French cider. 9/10.
