£3.75 for 2Litres. What more do you want? Yes, it’s made from concentrate and it’s mass-produced - but for £3.75 the only thing better for this: at that price is the Waitrose Farmhouse Cider.
It has a pleasant fruit aroma on the nose. The taste is sharp at first and then mellows out with a light touch of caramel. It’s golden yellow in colour and light to medium fizz - and you can pretty much always guarantee it will be fizzy out of the bottle and not still and flat.
This is better than your Barnstormer or Country Choice from the corner shop and I think it’s better than Sainsbury’s Dry, Hawksridge (ASDA), Crofter’s (Tesco) and Crumpton Oaks (in Morrison’s, Tesco and others).
I quote happily sip on this stuff for the money - what more do you want?
Can’t give it 5 stars as it’s a concentrate but I’ll give it a 4/5 as it’s only 5%ABV as well so you don’t get poleaxed on it either.
