Curious Apple

Another wonderful Kent cider. The aroma and taste are almost exclusively of tart green apples, but neither are unpleasant. Lime green in colour with a light carbonation this could easily be drunk all day, and at 5.2% its pleasant enough not to become overwhelming. Highly recommended 😊

Very pale colour, moderate light fizz and clear. Made from Kent Bramley and Rubens apples. Light apple sour drop aroma. Flavour is of eating apple and is crisp and sharp with elderflower. Made by a winemaker and this comes through although it always concerns me when the head ‘brewer’ is listed on a cider bottle.

Sweet & sharp, 5.2%. Cracking, could easily have a session on it if only it came in bottles larger than 330ml.

Comes in a 330 ml bottle, and is a single varietal from Rubens dessert apples. Pale, lime-green in colour, with a sharp, apple-candy aroma. The flavour is of crisp, green apple, with a somewhat sour aftertaste. Refreshing, modern-style cider, but lacking complexity.

Well, hello there stranger! Where have you been all my liver long days? This is a little cracker. Lovely clean crisp taste with a slight afterburn. just what I like. Everything is a little surpressed, the bouquet, the finish, the taste is short &punchy and the bottle is small. I'd like 4 or 5 pints to give it a proper test drive.
