English Vintage Perry 2016

Attractive, pale, lime green/yellow colour. Slight pear aroma, with strong alcohol tang. The flavour is not particularly fruity, and is surprisingly dry. There is a moderate tannic aftertaste, adding character to a flavour dominated by the alcohol, and lacking much of the pears. Pleasant enough, but not at all what I was expecting, and quote unlike any other perry I have tasted.
