Field Day

Described by Graft as a “rhubarb spritz cider,” Field Day is less sour than others from Graft and mildly tart from the rhubarb, moderated with hibiscus, rooibos and some blood orange. A bit of a salty flavor. The overall effect is that of a light cider for midday or late afternoon. Beautiful hazy pink. Extra credit for the lovely can design.

This is a dry tart cider with a ruby grapefruit colored, hazy pour. It has rhubarb on the nose with tart notes of rhubarb that follows through on the palate. There is a medium effervescence with a long tart finish. It says it is a Rhubarb Spritz Cider which I would agree with as it is fairly light and sparkling similar to a spritzer. It would be a nice easy drinking summer cider.
