Gold Rush

Golden pour. Nice apple aroma with a hint of pear. Taste is lightly tart with a fairly strong apple flavor backed by a touch of honey that smooths the taste out. Has a slightly spicy edge with a hint of ginger. Mild tannin presence. Alcohol content is will hidden.

Albemarle Ciderworks Gold Rush - Tart, crisp, clear. As the description on the back of the bottle, I recognize notes of ginger and a touch of citrus. They say grapefruit but I get more lemons. Medium tannins with high acids. Sweet aromas of apples and slight notes of honey. I had to pull the jar from my father-in-law honey to compare tastes. On the finish I get a slight cloy of syrup, sort of like an apple concentrate.
