Hibiscus Saison

The pour is a clear garnet with medium effervescence. The aroma is fruity and floral. The taste is dry apple. The mouthfeel light but gains some from the carbonation. The finish is medium to long that start as astringent and ends as acidic. It’s a nice dry, slightly tart and slightly astringent cider. I enjoy it.

Bought near Sacramento CA (cidery in Drytown CA). More fruity than floral. I pick up notes of pomegranate, cherry, strawberry, and cranberry with a hint of honey. Ingredients include hibiscus extract, cane sugar, and natural flavor.
