Idyll Acres 2020

Made from a mix of bittersweet and bittersharp cider apples and aged in bourbon barrels. It has a classic traditional cider aroma, but the flavor is almost entirely from the bourbon barrel. It has a very thick mouthfeel and a tannic/astringent finish. Nicely made, and i certainly wouldn't turn down a glass, but I do feel a bit disappointed by the cider flavor being lost.
