Comes in a 750 ml bottle.
Amber colour, with an aroma of caramel and vanilla.
Caramel flavour, with tones of oak and whiskey, developing vanilla and honeyed tones in the aftertaste, and carrying soft tannins. The finish brings stronger whiskey and a little smoke.
This is a really well-made and well-balanced cider, bringing complexity and depth, and harmonious flavour tones. Very drinkable, and would be a great accompaniment to many desserts, or with shortbread, but stands on its own really well.
750ml bottle from Scrattings. Golden colour, white foam head that dissipates away to a thin rim and aroma of bourbon cask, vanilla, woody oak, apple. Taste is fruity apple, green apple with wood, bourbon, oak barrel, vanilla notes and some drying tannin. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry woody oaky finish. Nicely drinkable.
