Pale cider, pleasant apple taste, clean tasting, with few bubbles.

500ml bottle from M&S Darlington UK. Sparkling orange gold colour, initial white foam head that dissipates away and aroma of apple with apple skin & barnyard. Taste is apple, funky horseblanket, apple skins, drying tannins and woody oak. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

Very pale yellow, with no definable aroma. Sour, still cider, with a vinegary aftertaste. The label claimed this was a sparkling cider, but that was not evident to me. Monotonal, and lacking complexity; the sourness dominates. Update:- A second bottle was less sour, and had a light carbonation, whilst the mouth feel was oily, and the flavour more developed. A thin apple flavour, with a soft tannic, woody aftertaste. I have upgraded my rating from 2 to 3 stars.
