Orange colour heavy fizz and moderate heavy cloudiness. Strong ripe apple aroma. Rich flavour with toffee and wood.

Slightly cloudy golden pour with a bunch of fine pearls of carbonation. Aromas upfront of yeast barnyard, leather, and apple. The palate is sharp green apple, warm apple, hay, soil and must. The mouth feel is round with constant fizz. A great selection of Cidre de Normandie with an individual sour character not often present on the keeved ciders of France.

A nice very French tasting cider, medium carbonation, dry with that French 'funk' (for lack of a better term )

Review of a 2012 vintage bottle bought at World Market. I thought this was horrible...it just tasted completely off to me. Sour, funky, and bitter, with lots of yeast sediment at the bottom. Also, it was completely flat. I've had some ciders from Normandy France before and I now know I don't like the style, but to me, this was even more undrinkable than Dupont Bouche (which I thought was really beer-like). Unfortunately I had to dump it, as I couldn't manage finishing it. Someone I know tried this too and had the same reaction, but I've seen reviews online saying it had nice carbonation & sweetness, so I'm wondering if we both got a bad batch. Too bad.

Fruity and sparkly, which I enjoy. However there is a bitterness to the smell that is a bit offputting.
