Jaxon has some of the fastest reflexes I've seen, and his bow was out, nocked, and firing before the bandits got off their first volley. Even still, we were too close, and they had numbers. His arrows shot true, but they were no amateurs, and as two of the ambushers fell to Jaxon's lethal accuracy, he and the guards were each struck by multiple bolts. The guards fell without having drawn their blades, and Jaxon's horse reared up and fell backwards onto him. I think this cider hits what it's aiming for, but still falls short.
