This is, I think, the first year of production (2016 harvest) for a new Perthshire cidery. With so few in Scotland, any new one is welcome, but one which starts with such a good quality first run is especially so.
Light, crisp, with a pleasant tartness, it is light golden in colour, with only a slight aroma. There is a refreshing bite in the initial fresh, apple taste, and a sharp apple skin aftertaste; this is only just at the sweet side of the spectrum.
Looking forward to their future efforts.
