Mulled

What a festive treat. A warm amber mulled cider with fruit and spices to make this a sweet, warming and enjoyable Christmas treat!

Comes in 750 ml screw-top bottle. Made from scrumpy cider, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, cardamom, lemon, and orange zest. Amber colour, with a spicy aroma, dominated by cinnamon, and a hint of lemon. Drunk cold, the initial flavour is fruity, with definite citrus tones. The spices begin to assert themselves in the aftertaste, with the cloves strongest, but the others, particularly the cinnamon and cardamom, come through in the finish. Drunk warm, the cloves dominate from the start, adding bitterness, with the spices becoming harmonious in the aftertaste, and a little extra cinnamon in the finish. Nicely-blended mulled cider, which made for a lovely fireside drink after coming in from a very frosty night outside.
