Organic Vintage Cider

Amber-coloured, with an aroma combining ripe apple with blossom, and tones of oak. Sharp, tangy apple, becomes tannic and woody in the aftertaste, with a little wax in the finish. Complex and drinkable, with a taste profile which may appeal to a dark beer drinker, though lacking the creaminess. Very satisfying.

2015 Vintage. Well balanced and nicely drinkable blended cider. Pours a golden colour with no head and aroma of mellow fruity apple, apple pie with light wood and funk. The taste is fruity apple, sweetish, slight apple pie note, with some wood, funky hints and light drying tannins. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, semi-dry fruity finish. 330ml bottle from Cross Lanes Farm Shop, County Durham UK.
