Panting Partridge Perry

Golden, clear, fruity, sweetish. Had at Kidderminster beer festival.

A lightly sparkling refreshing perry emphasising that sweet pear flavour with a hint of citrus. A slight sour wine taste but quite moreish at the same time.

Clear still golden colour. Aromas of sweet pairs. Sweet initial pear flavours, followed by a slight sourness/ citrus notes on the end. Pleasen, but I think a pint is too much.

Yellow/light straw colour, clear, low carbonation, ripe pear nose with slight hint of sulphite. Clean pleasant flavour with medium body, sweet pear & lychee flavours. Gentle tannins hit the middle of your tongue and flavours build the more you sip.

Yellow colour, light carbonation and clear. Pear and elderflower aroma. Fresh fruit flavour but a bit vinegary. Soft mouthfeel.

Herefordshire England perry, on draft at the Schilling Cider House. Pear-forward with some citrus, but I wasn't a fan of the slight sourness, although that seems common with English perries (even if ciders from the same cidery aren't).

330ml clear glass; pours a light pale straw, very soft carbonation; on the nose floral and fruit-forward- notes of pear, elderflower and lychee, with a kiss of lemony acidity, ghosts of farmyard funk and soft leather; on the palate smooth and rounded, gentle effervescence carries notes of pear sweetness, lemon and lime acidity, velvety elderflower in the background; light bodied, medium finish with short lingering pear and lychee aftertaste

super smooth, no bubble, medium sweet boxed Perry with a good taste that lingers. Favourite Perry awarded to Panting Partridge 😁

Mild, not noticeable ABV

Comes in a 1 litre plastic jug. Pale golden, with an aroma of overripe pear, sweet hay, and a light funk. Buttery pear, with an edge of vinegar, and a spiced finish. Not one I would want a second pint of in the day, but an enjoyable, and warming, perry; perhaps one for the fireside? Obtained direct from Newton Court.

As Perries go, this is fairly ok.
