This is a nice Perry and brought me back to my cider tour of the West Country. It’s advertised as medium sweet sparkling and farmhouse and it hits all of those points. It has a nice nose, definite sweetness, decent carbonation but the farmhouse cloudiness can make it hard to notice. While it has a nice fruit nose, it finishes with some phenolic funk. However, the sweetness is what sticks with me. I enjoyed this and you have to love the name and label.

Light yellow colour, very light carbonation and slightly cloudy. Sweet pear aroma with a little whisky. Pear drop flavour.

Pale golden, with an aroma of pear candy and a hint of oak. Crisp pear flavour, with some skin, and a pear drop finish. Drinkable, but unremarkable, perry.
