Pilot Project Batch 1 Golden Cider

Not liked unfortunately. Very odd cider from my experience. Best described as very fizzy and very sweet lemonade.

Clear pale gold pour. Light carbonation. Moderate apple aroma. Taste is semi-dry with notes of apple, minerals, pineapple and light funk. Moderate acidity. Moderate tannins. Thin bodied.

A very good first entry. It is on tap at schillings for a brief time. I'm looking forward to more from this local newcomer.

Mystery cider, as this winery just started making cider and I couldn't find so much as a description online. It appears to be made from dessert apples. Very apple-forward and sessionable, with notes of honey, stone fruit, and pineapple. I think it would be better in a multipack than single bottles (ie. I thought it was overpriced).
