My opinions on pineapple cider are well established- pineapple is one of the best flavors you can mix in with cider. Which is the only reason I was tempted into trying Bold Rock's pineapple. I was severely underwhelmed when I tried their selection on tap at their tasting room at Carter Mountain a couple of years ago. Their version of a pineapple cider is strangely reminiscent of Dole Whip. Sweet like a crushed pineapple in a can with a sort of vanilla lactose mouthfeel. Not really what I am looking for in a pineapple cider- glad I only got one can. I will wash this taste away with my standard pineapple cider - Downeast Aloha Friday. Reviewed on 17 May 2021 4 likes
