Cidre de Normandie Fournier "Poiré" (2% ABV, 750ml). Made with pears from the company's Domfrontais orchards, this perry again comes free of sugar or colourings. Speaking of which, it pours a clear, pale gold. Moderately sweet aroma of fresh pears, apple skins, and faint honey. Medium body, lively carbonation. Sweet and tart pears on the palate at first, with a high dose of vinegar. Finishes dry with vinegar, lemon, very faint funk (hay) and faint pears, the latter spilling into the aftertaste, which stays sour and vinegary. Very low bitterness. If you like high acidity as much as I do, this fruity perry might be for you. 8/10.

Golden colour, pretty fizzy and clear. Fresh pear aroma. Pear drop flavour. A bit fizzy and a bit sickly sweet. Heading towards dessert wine territory and needs something savoury with it.
