Raven's Roost

Amber coloured, clear and moderately sparkling. Aroma is slightly floral. Fresh apple and wood with vanilla in the flavour.

Copper-coloured, with an aroma of wood and a delicate floral edge. Tangy apple, becoming astringent and little bitter in the aftertaste, but with soft tannins and a little salt in the finish. Drinkable, with an interesting flavour profile, offering good complexity and depth. I think this would stand quite well against a tart rhubarb pie or perhaps a well-aged Red Leicester cheese.
