Rouge Delice

French cidre made from 10% Rouge Delice red-fleshed apples and 90% bittersweet apples. At least available in Washington and Oregon in the U.S. Very reasonably priced at only $10 / six pack. Nice flavor (bittersweet apple with watermelon & strawberry), but a bit too sweet for my liking as well as a bit commercial/fake tasting.

Starts with a very nice aroma that dissipates fairly quickly. The taste is pleasant and distinctly apple. However it is really quite sweet, too sweet for me. It is back sweetened with sugar, which helps account for the 23g of sugar per bottle.
