Kinda tastes like when you throw up in your mouth a little bit.

A nice, flat, whiskey barrel tinged cider. The barrel is the main flavor driver. I wish there was more yeast characteristic to give depth like the English ciders they strive to make.

Caramel, musky notes come through a indiscernible fruit to create a fairly bland but well drinkable cider. There's no real apple that leaps out, so it's hard for me to love.

This truly does taste like the inside of a barrel. And I do not mean that in a complimentary way. :-( Its bitter and does have a kind of oaky flavour which isn’t speaking to me.

Quite mild flavored, almost bland, but it has some nice flavors to it...I pick up oak, honey, and vanilla. The spirit and barrel influence both remain mild, but noticeable. Overall I was a bit disappointed, but especially for $6.50 / 22oz, its not bad. More like 3.5 than 4 stars for me.
