Sloe Gin

Comes in a 1 Pint (568 ml) plastic carton taster pack. Peachy-pink in colour, with an aroma of sloes and juniper. Initial smooth and with a peach edge, becoming astringent with sloe flavour, but the finish is a little artificial and chemical. At first, this is drinkable, and not unpleasant, but it becomes a little cloying, and the finish irritates me, as someone who makes my own sloe gin. Not sure if this comes from an artificial sloe flavouring, or a cheap gin, but it greatly detracts from the initial favourable impression. Obtained direct from Weymouth Cider.
