Sparkling Devon Cider

Orange-brown in colour, with a funky aroma, carrying a conifer resin edge. Sweetish, fermenting apple flavour, with a resinous aftertaste, and an almost gelatinous body. Slight fermentation sparkle. Rich, traditional scrumpy style, though not that alcoholic. Pleasant, satisfying drink, and quite sessionable. I can see the sweetness making this a good companion to a curry!

Sparkling cider from Heron Valley has an orange/brown cloudy appearance in a 275ml screw top bottle. This has a very pungent aroma of mature fermented apples that is very overpowering and slightly off-putting. It presents itself as a thick, full-bodied cider, high in tannin with a slowly fermented sour tang.
