Ruby colour, still and clear. Aroma of straw and smoke. Smoke and wood in the taste. Rich, flavoursome with light tannins.

Red/brown colour, with an aroma combining tones of aged oak, smoke, and straw. Bittersweet fruit flavour, developing rich, soft tannins, with peat smoke and oak tones. Rich, complex flavours and aged character make this an interesting, sessionable cider, which would match well with a range of savoury flavours such as mushrooms, blue cheese, or cassoulet.
