2020 vintage; 750ml green glass; pours a clear, gentle hazy medium amber, fine white mousse, gentle effervescence; on the nose medium funk recalling leather and sweat, juicy red apples mingle with lemony acidity, wet leaves, earthy orchard character with a just-rained-freshness; on the palate savoury and rich, yet light and juicy, some gentle mouth drying tannins are layered with juicy red apples, high lemony acidity runs through full mouthfeel creating a zippy freshness, some red berry notes in the background, reminding of strawberries, some rose water notes; medium bodied, medium finish, long lingering aftertaste with mouth watering acidity and soft yet grippy astringency, soft bitterness and juicy apples created the perfect balance of just the right tannins, acidity residual sugar (bitterness is key; high lemony acidity; red apple sweetness)
