Strawman

Totally different from other Angry Orchard ciders I’ve had. This is much drier and, yes, I too get the “funk.” Hearty without carrying a lot of fruit taste. We bought this bottle while visiting the Angry Orchard Cider House, and are glad to have had it as an example of a different style offering from AO.

gotta admit, I liked this more than expected. slightly drier than expected. the label says "champagne style". I would call it more wine-inspired. at $9.99, don't think I would buy a whole bottle, but I could drink a small glass out for dinner somewhere if there were no better options. high alcohol, but doesn't really taste it.

This is from Angry Orchard "Cider House Collection," and very different from the mass-market ciders they are well known for. This one isn't exactly my cup of team (glass of cider?), but it is a very interesting cider. It's a little too dry & funky for my liking, but it has a full, distinctive taste that's worth trying if dry & funky sounds up your alley.
