Dorset Twilight

Update Aug 2023 Had this again and it is very different from my original review in terms of looks as the photos will testify. This is golden and clear compared to amber and cloudy. Has a strong ripe apple aroma with some funk. Farmyard flavour. Gentle tannins. Deep amber, still and very hazy. Caramel aroma. Tart, tannic and dry.

Golden yellow, with a toffee apple aroma. This is made from the same base cider as their Starlight, but is aged longer, giving a drier, more tannic end product. The taste initially matches the toffee apple aroma, before the tannins develop in the mouth, and the dry tartness of the finish is revealed, with hints of sourness and funk. This would be a cracking cider with a light carbonation; still good without it.

Hazy amber colour with a scrumpy sort of taste. Still dry cider with quite a funky aftertaste.
