Cloudy, bronze colour, with an aroma heavy on oak, overlying a light farmyard funk. Sharp and tart fruit flavour, becomes bitter with oak and tannins, which soften into the finish. Not subtle, with punchy oak and tannins, but quite drinkable, and grows on the palate, though the heavy oak and bitterness make this unlikely to be considered sessionable.
