This was a hit at a recent gathering of pirates and SCAdians. It has just the right amount of honey without being overpowering and the rum scent and flavor is evident upon first taste. This cider has something for everyone.

22oz bottle picked up at Total Wine for $10. Not bad. TONS of honey flavor. I would have liked more rum & barrel influence. The spiced rum presents more in the finish and some lingering warmth. Ripe apple, honey, tropical fruit, light floral, citrus, oak wood, spiced rum, caramel, and brown sugar notes. The honey flavor seemed to be competing with the rum & barrel aspects. This was better between fridge and room temperature, where it became very smooth and the honey flavor mellowed out a bit.
