A re-branding of their Applesecco. Pale golden colour, clear with strong fizz. Fresh floral aroma. Clean apple flavour with a sharp finish. Buttery but a bit too fizzy for me.

Wow - love this stuff. Nice and fizzy too. There’s nothing much under the nose here but the rest of the experience makes up for it. It has oak hints with floral notes and a faint caramel whiff but otherwise it won’t send your nose tingling. It says on the back label that you can sip this from a flute as an alternative to champagne or Prosecco, but I had mine in a pint glass! The colour is a light-amber gold, it’s gorgeous. What a well crafted cider this is. And at 6.0%ABV you can quaff and quaff until the cows come home! It’s fizzy, yes, maybe too fizzy for some, but it’s not as fizzy as a prosecco or champagne. It’s the same fizziness as an Aspall on draught and doesn’t taste that dissimilar. It’s on the sweet side for sure and has a sharp zest to the initial taste with a tiny hint of lime and citrus. It swills in the mouth and mellows away letting its sharpness stay with a really decent length. That’s when the dryness and tartness taste kicks in and it’s very satisfying. I’d also say it’s medium to full bodied. This cider comes in a 75cl bottle, like a bottle of wine and I could easily drink one on my own. (And did for this review!). This cider would easily accompany some savoury snacks - but sometimes a cider or best delivered on its own - and that’s exactly what I did with this one. Highly recommended, I’ve given it a 4/5 and the the taste isn’t quite complex and deep enough to hit a 5 - but I’d definitely buy it again - and share with my champagne-loving wine crew. 4/5. Bought it in the Ombersley Farm Shop, Worcestershire, UK.
