Light apple in taste, light in fizz. Almost had a honey taste mixed in, and I don’t think it’s the bee in the neck of the bottle making me think that! Syrup taste, thin bodied, light golden colour, pleasant though. Refreshing and at 4.8% could go session, trouble is finding a bottle under £2.20/£2.50. A medium cider and a tad on the sweet side.. Have given it 3 stars as the flavour just isn’t complex enough, but I would buy again.

Had this as a draft cider, quite sweet, almost like a Perry. Not sure you’d want an afternoon on it.

Oldfield's Original Worcestershire Cider (4.8% ABV, 500ml). made from bittersweet Dabinett, Harry Masters Jersey, and Yarlington Mill cider apples. No sweeteners, no colourings. Pale yellow golden colour, clear. Bittersweet, slightly tart apples in the nose, mild hints of funk, and a floral note. Light to medium body, moderate carbonation. On the palate, those same bittersweet fruit notes, a certain amount of tannins, floral notes, hints of vinegar. Dry and moderately bitter finish, faint apples, light tannins in the aftertaste. Not hugely impressive (fizz could be even less), but straightforward and fruity-enough medium-dry traditional cider. 7/10.

Light golden colour, clear with mid range fizz. Light aroma with a little caramel. Caramel in the flavour with good hit of woodiness.

Pale amber in colour, with a bruised apple aroma. Tangy and slightly sour, but with an underlying sweetness, like cooked under-ripe apples. Not in the same league as the other Oldfields I have tasted, but drinkable enough.
