Aprecot

The pour is a slightly cloudy light orange with low effervescence. The aroma is light with some apple and yeast notes. The taste is dry tart and apricot. The finish is acidic with some mouthfeel but no real tannins or astringency. It’s a nice example of a dessert cider with a fruit adjunct. I’m guessing but it seems like maybe they are using whole apricots with the apple, like an extract and not apricot juice. I would think something with a little more sweetness would better balance the tart and bring out the apricot more but it’s still good.
