Brothers Cloudy Lemon

Brothers Cloudy Lemon (4% ABV, 500ml). An alcopop cider for a change. Water, sugar, citric acid,l; no actual lemon juice, apparently. Medium hazy pale yellow. Sweetish and mildly acidic lemon in the aroma, with faint apple in the background. Medium body, soft carbonation. Slightly artificial lemon also dominates the palate, but there's a bit of apple flavour, too. Sour and sweet finish, but mostly sweet. Some faint apple skins and lemon in the aftertaste. Not terrible, but what's the point? 2.5/10 as a cider.

Smells wonderful, but tastes a bit like flat lemonade. I must admit I was expecting another very sugary fruit drink, but surprisingly it actually went down well. Will definitely be having a few more of these. 🍋 🍻

surprisingly not as lemony as I had expected which is a good thing. Think more along the lines of a alcoholic lemonade.
