Very sweet but not unpleasant Somerset cider. I was never a fan of the Parma Violet sweets, as they were a bit girlie, but thankfully the only similarity is the aroma. The cider is very tasty with a very strong floral aftertaste, but a bit too sweet for an all day beverage. Apart from that a very nice cider.

Parma violets are a traditional English confectionery, made with violet petals. Violet colour, with an aroma which reminds me of a floral disinfectant. It has the distinctive, strong flavour of Parma violet sweets, and little else. If you like the sweets, then you may well like this; I don't!
