Chaplin & Cork's Somerset Vintage Cider

Golden in colour and what I would call a traditional cider, dry smooth tasting and at 8.2% it's certainly has a nice warming alcohol taste.

Almost the perfect cider. Just apples 🍎, but no nasty aftertaste or acidic aroma. 2018 vintage, very smooth and not too fizzy. Just right infact. You can certainly tell its 8.2%, but that apart an incredibly authentic real cider.

500ml clear glass; pours a bright crystal clear gold, ever so soft effervescence; on the nose clean with notes of ripe apple skins in the sunshine, with hints of wet orchard floor, soft lemon notes; on the palate beautifully balanced tannins, citrus acidity and satisfying sweetness; medium bodied, medium finish with a lingering bittersweet aftertaste

fruity to start and fades to a slightly dry finish but if you enjoy a medium cider this is definitely not too dry. smooth and easy to drink

Verges on a rough cider, but at 8.2% after 2 glasses you won’t care. Pretty palatable, dry and fragrant.

Dark golden, rather a musty taste, but 8.2% provides some compensation.

Not too sweet, but sweet enough for me. And note too fizzy which is my main big bear with a lot of ciders. Really nice taste. Enjoyed it a lot sat in the sun.

2017 vintage cider dry,cider

2016 Vintage. Pours an orange gold colour with a short-lived fizzy white foam head. Aroma of leather & fruity apple. Taste is tangy apple, bittersweet with vanilla, toffee, some apple skin & light tannin. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, fine carbonation, medium-dry finish. 2016 Vintage.

Nice golden colour, with a light aroma of fruit and wood. Flavour is of bittersweet apple, with a slight floral tone, and some wood and tannins in the aftertaste. Enjoyable drink, benefitting from light, but complex, tones, combining for an intriguing cider.
