Pale yellow in colour, with a stableyard aroma. Tart, fruity apple flavour, initially with a sweetish character, but growing drier in the mouth as the mellow tannins and oak express themselves, and with an aftertaste carrying some funk. Nicely complex, and quite drinkable.

500ml bottle from Morrisons supermarket, UK. Pours a sparkling yellow gold colour with a white foam head that quickly dissipates away. Aroma of mellow fruity apple. Taste is sweetish, apple, fruity, some tartness and tannins, plus alittle woody oak and hint of funk. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, dry tangy finish. Quite drinkable.

Orchard Pig is delicious, indeed. I quite enjoyed having it on tap in UK and even in the bottle it was quite yummy. Now, if only they would export this lovely not too sweet cider.

This cider has a pleasant, crisp, fruity taste. I would drink it again, even though I generally prefer something sweeter.
