Sassy Cidre Rosé "La Sulfureuse" (3% ABV, 750ml). The rosé cider from Sassy is made from 18 varieties apples from Normandy, including several red-fleshed ones, with no sweeteners or colouring. Pours a deep, clear salmon colour. Sweet red apples in the aroma, strawberries, with a notable dose of vinegar. Medium body, soft carbonation. On the palate, very sweet red apples and strawberries, with some bitterness of apple peels, and hefty acidity. The acidity last into the finish and aftertaste, as do apple peel and a hint of strawberries. Very fruity and lively rosé cider. (8.5/10)

Comes in a 330 ml bottle. Vivid red, with a perfumed apple skin aroma carrying a toffee edge. Intense apple candy flavour, becoming toffee apple in the aftertaste, and back to candy in the finish. Despite the sweetness and candyish flavour, I quite enjoyed this as the flavours still retained a natural character, and this would make a pleasant lunch or afternoon dessert drink.

Some believe that monsters behave differently than "natural" beasts. That they have different appetites or behavioural patterns. This is generally a misunderstanding of the wants and needs of any living creature. Monstrous creatures have the same needs as any other; they seek food and safety, they attempt to reproduce, they tend to avoid injury and death. Knowing this allows someone knowledgeable to read the signs and generally avoid danger. In this way, I was able to make my way in the wilds for over a week without incident. It didn't last. This cider reflects the freshness of a clear mind and a silent confidence. It is the reflection of stars in an upturned gaze.
