Like all Meon Valley ciders seem to be, this is made from a blend of local Hampshire dessert apples and West Country bittersweets.
Pleasing amber yellow colour, with a green tinge. Pleasant floral, apple aroma.
The bittersweets dominate in the flavour, giving a thirst-quenching sharpness, with a crisp, dryish aftertaste. The maker classifies this as dry, but I would suggest that this is merely medium dry.
Really enjoyed this, and I am happy to recommend it.
