Dry Cider

My sister Debra is with me trying hard cider FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME!!! A veritable virgin when it comes to hard cider. She likes the dryness of it. I concur. And she likes the little bit of sweet that is well balanced with the fusion of, as they say in Boston, ‘Taht’. And she likes the carbonation. So, magically, based on this first cider experience she will be having hard cider again. I agree on all points. Except the hard cider virgin part.

Not so good. We like sour and we like dry but this level of funky sour makes it not very palatable to us; reminds us of sour cheese mixed with the smell of compost, and how the drippings would taste. We can see what it was going for, but not so sure about the execution.

Very good and dry, not super complex but solid, would drink again

Dry, but little character. I’ll drink it, but would prefer something a bit more interesting.
