Elderberry

Great find in Amsterdam, this cider is apple-forward and not too heavy on the berry. Clean taste, crisp, nice finish. I will look for this as we continue our tour of the continent.

I am not a fan of fruited ciders, most mask any trace of apples and seem to appeal to drunk girls at Beer festivals. I was pleasantly surprised with the Cidre Ruwet Elderberry Cider. The elderberry offered a subtle, gentle flavor. With the quality of a well crafted cocktail, I enjoined the cider maker's mastery in this cider and fruit blend.
