Noted as having orange, coriander, and raisins, so definitely an interesting description. I was told it really didn't taste like that though, so when I saw it almost half price ($4 for 22oz bottle), I decided to give it a try.
Definitely very sweet. Although hazy, this variety has less of the unfiltered look & taste than the Orchard Gate Gold and Northern Neighbor varieties. Smells of sweet ripe apples, pears, and cinnamon. I pick up some orange, citrus, and honey notes in the taste. Tastes kinda syrupy, but apparently all the sweetness is from arrested fermentation, no added sugar or concentrate or anything artificial (they don't even use sulfites and its organic). Quick finish.
Not really to my liking...I like Northern Neighbor best so far. I do however like what they stand for, and the price is really good for how they make cider. Would be great for those just getting into cider and those who like really sweet ciders, but want a craft product.
