Forgotten Orchard Medium Dry

Decent dry cider. Tastes & smells like a proper cider. Properly enjoyed this.

Golden in colour, with a heady aroma, combining ripe fruit, wood, herbal tones, and an edge of funk. The taste reflects the aroma, with a fruity initial flavour, developing dryness and light oak, and finishing with a dry edge and a little funk. Nicely complex, but also light enough to be refreshing. Well-balanced, and characterful.

There's an astringent finish to this.... medium fruit, medium dry, medium strength cider....that I can not decide whether I am enjoying or not. It has a musty-ness, bordering on the "Off"...that hits you with a touch of sweetness at the very end leading to a little puckering. I need to investigate this cider further.

Golden colour with earthy aroma. Slight citrus flavour with dry finish. Quite light but refreshing.

Get some lemon zest together with the damp, smoky favour after straining through a pair of socks that’s been out walking on the Dorset Jurassic coast
