Galipette Extra Brut

Haven't been able to sleep. Hunkered down here amongst the dagger-like thorn bushes, hoping they'll provide some meager protection against the dark. My armor is uncomfortable, but I dread to remove it. There's something out there, moving in the void. Drifting on the edge of vision. My hand tightens on my sword hilt. I'll get no sleep this night. This cider is heat in darkness; a warm wind through leafless trees.
