Glastonbury Gold

Another wonderful Somerset cider, beautiful light golden colour, with a refreshing apple only aroma and taste. It's probably not true, but it tastes as if this is made exclusively from green apples, it has that tartness feel in the mouth, but it's marvellous nonetheless. Once finished it has an almost dry aftertaste, but not too much as to make it unpleasant and at a healthy 6% is the perfect session drink

Golden, still & clear. Fresh apple aroma. Light, refreshing with smooth mouthfeel.

Clear golden colour. Lots of carbonation. Tannic oaky notes on the nose with a slight undertone funk. The heavy carbonation detracts from some of the flavours, so it is worth allowing it to settle. This is a lovely balanced cider which starts sweet and fruity, which gently blends into a drier (not dry), oaky tannin flavour which lingers into the aftertaste. I got this cider with a Somerset collection from the Bristol cider company.
