Mountain Rose Cider

Champagne-like bubbles helps make the fruity/funky aroma quite prominent. It has a light taste and mouthfeel, leading to a bold, pleasantly bitter finish. There is a definite funkiness here, not overpowering in my opinion, but definitely there. This is made with Mountain Rose apples, which are a pink fleshed apple. This color did not carry into the cider I had, which has a strong amber hue.

Very flavorful, elegant cider - lots of fine bubbles, smooth fruit flavor. Interestingly amber-colored without any pinkish hue from the mountain rose apples, which are pink-fleshed.
