Beautiful Cambridgeshire cider, made from apples from their own orchards. Apparently some of the trees harvested are over 130 years old. The apple varieties used are too numerous to name individually but include Ambassy, Ashmeads Kernel, Braeburn, and many more. A crisp apple only aroma, gives way to a wonderful almost green apple taste with a slightly acidic/tart aftertaste that's definitely not unpleasant.
However, be warned, although this cider doesn't taste like traditional scrumpy, at 6.9% it packs a seriously scrumpy like Wallop.
All in all, a beautiful drink, very very highly recommended 🙂
