My first time with Scottish cider, and I was definitely not disappointed. Light to middle carbonation, with a gentle almost lavender aroma, but I may be wrong, whatever it was it smelled wonderful. At 6.2% it packs quite a Wallop, but doesn't taste that strong, so be warned 😆 😜

(Tasted on Oct. 7, 2023) Thistly Cross Original Cider (6.2% ABV, 500ml). Made from a variety of Scottish apples. Clear, bright golden colour. Medium body, mild carbonation. Sweetish, slightly vinegary apple aroma with tannins in the background. Very fruity first taste, with red apples, apple juice against very moderate acidity. Medium sweet I think is best to describe it. Not cloying. Rather like apple strudel. Apple skins and tannins toward the finish, with a lemony, fruity aftertaste, getting sweet again. Relatively uncomplicated cider, but with very pleasing apple notes. Very "clean" taste, so to speak. 8/10.

very sweet reminds me of woodpecker not my type of cider at all. very light bubbles easy to drink, but it is chucking up gear after after a few I would say.

Lots of different flavours, earthy, fruity and caramel.

Pale, crisp, and fruity. Similar to the Traditional, but a stronger 6.2%. Comes in a 330 ml bottle.
